Each plaque is individually coated with a lacquer-based paint to act as a resist. The words are scratched through the paint, and the little plaque is suspended in a vat of ferric nitrate. A little secret reminder, etched on the inside of a plain steel band. You might not know exactly where you're going, and you might not be clear on exactly how you got where you are, but right now, you know where you are. And that's all that matters, anyway.
This ring will last forever, no matter what you do to it. It is a very wide band, though, hence getting a rating under 10 on our wearability index. Some folks find wide bands like this less comfortable- I'm not one of those people, but you might be. Your ring will be custom made for you- please allow 1-2 weeks for fabrication
